Key Responsibilities:
Tasks:
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Obtain special permits and required documentation for transporting cargo internationally
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are checked
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
