Key Responsibilities:
Tasks:
- Analyze budgets to maximize and maintain restaurant profitability
- Develop and manage budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies
- Monitor revenue to calculate and manage labor costs
- Plan and oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Create and manage staff work schedules
- Define services offered and implement operational procedures
- Handle cash management tasks, including balancing cash, completing balance sheets, and preparing cash reports
- Enforce compliance with provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations
- Organize and oversee inventory management
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other necessary supplies
- Coordinate with clients for catering services or facility use
