Key Responsibilities:
Tasks:

  • Analyze budgets to maximize and maintain restaurant profitability
  • Develop and manage budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies
  • Monitor revenue to calculate and manage labor costs
  • Plan and oversee daily operations of the restaurant
  • Create and manage staff work schedules
  • Define services offered and implement operational procedures
  • Handle cash management tasks, including balancing cash, completing balance sheets, and preparing cash reports
  • Enforce compliance with provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations
  • Organize and oversee inventory management
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers for food and other necessary supplies
  • Coordinate with clients for catering services or facility use
