JOB DESCRIPTION
Horizon Retirement Management is a private seniors’ residence (RPA) manager with 8 residences in the greater Montreal area and in Ottawa. Join our more than 500 dedicated employees who provide our residents with a daily client experience focused on well-being.
Villagia in the Glebe is looking for a part time dishwasher
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Knowledge and experience in kitchens
- Knowledge health and safety standards
Background:
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives direction, assignment and evaluation of work from the Food Services Manager and/or Cook
- Provides dishwashing services as scheduled
- Change detergents in dishwashing machine as necessary
- Helps cook with prep work as requested
- Notifies supervisor in the event of an emergency and assists in implementing emergency interventions as delegated
- Reports to supervisor any equipment or supply requirements
- Maintains tidiness and cleanliness of all equipment, storage and work areas
- Removes garbage and recyclables from kitchen and disposes
- Receives and puts away deliveries of food and supplies
- Reports any damage or unsafe equipment to supervisor immediately
- Reports all staff and resident incidents/accidents immediately
- Participates in all mandatory training sessions
- Practices infection control protocol
- Adheres to the employee standards and ORCA Code of Ethics
