JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Farm Hand to join our close-knit team in an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity. The position involves all aspects of a mixed grazing, irrigation, large-scale farming business, while offering the potential for career growth.
Some duties of the role will include:
- Cattle husbandry, focused on health, nutrition, and breeding
- Varied general farm and machinery maintenance and upkeep
- Pivot irrigation monitoring and troubling shooting
- Machinery operation including; tractor/ loader, telehandler, light truck
- Record keeping
Preferred skills and experience
- Some general farming experience required
- Livestock, particularly cattle husbandry knowledge preferred
- Farm machinery operation experience preferred
