Job Description
We are seeking an experienced qualified boiler maker / welder (1st Class) capable of cutting, profiling and welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum for fabricated structures using TIG, MIG and laser welding equipment.
You will work in our manufacturing facility in Ingleburn, NSW or on construction sites across Australia during the installation of our manufactured plant.
The person we seek must have qualified or be capable of qualifying to the welding standard ISO 9606 for the 3 metals used in our fabricated products. You must be proficient at down hand, vertical up, vertical down and overhead welding positions.
Regular weld testing will be undertaken for client inspection and quality control supervisors.
You will be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabricating to the dimensions and shapes that are detailed. You will liaise with the design engineers during fabrication detailing to ensure the items are capable of efficient manufacture.
You will be proficient in both written and spoken English communication and be medically fit as work on some sites is subject to medical testing before commencement.
