Position:
With 400 people, keeping 200 buses on the road, Sunbus is instrumental to keeping communities connected and moving with more than 6 million people every year relying on Sunbus for travel.
- Regular Casual positions – $28.24 per hour (Monday to Friday), $39.54 per hour (Saturday) & $50.83 per hour (Sunday).
- Preparing our fleet for service in cleanliness, sufficient fuel, equipment (i.e. safety triangles, “sharps” containers, fire extinguisher etc.).
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness around the wash bay and refuelling areas, as well as ensuring other areas within the Depot are cleaned (e.g., offices, yard, and driver’s rooms).
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- C class drivers’ licence, MR licence preferred or willingness to obtain as driving buses is required.
- Attention to detail: cleaning professionals must pay high attention to detail to catch small cosmetic imperfections and ensure all work is done properly.
- Teamwork/interpersonal skills: Cleaners work around people and as part of a team.
- Communication skills: They must be able to communicate with team members and other staff.
- Knowledge of tools/equipment: Cleaners use cleaning equipment and chemicals and must be able to use them safely and effectively
