Job Description
We have roles available for both the experts in their field and those wanting to begin a new career. Any prior experience in coach building. boat manufacturing, automotive production, kitchen renovating and cabinet making would be desirable. Some of our vacant position are listed below.
Electrical Workers
- Assist in the electrical fanout of our new building
- Assist in all areas of electrical installations on the caravans both internally and externally
- Be part of an electrical team which works across all areas of the caravan production
- Must have a valid QLD electrical workers license
- Experience doing electrical fit outs on new building is desirable
Boilermakers /Welders
- Assist in the welding of the caravan chassis
- Assist in the welding team and become a valuable asset to zone RV
- Join the welding team and become a valuable asset to Zone RV
- Qualifications in welding, fabrication or beermaking is essential
Caravan Assembly Team
- Assist in all areas of the caravan assembly production line
- Installation of internal components including the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom
- Installation of external components including windows, doors, awnings, air conditioners and accessories
- Attachment of the caravan’s walls and roofs
- Experience using hand tools is desirable
Caravan Detailers
- Assist in all areas of caravan detailing including washing, vacuuming and polishing the vans
- Experience in detailing/cleaning and a passion for detailing and presentation is desriable
- Potential for training in gel coat repairs of fibreglass materials and the application of silicones and urethanes
- Current Car Licence is required
- Current Forklift Licence is desirable
Cabinet Makers and CNC Operators
- Assist in the manufacturing of high end cabinetry and joinery
- Use work plans and operate CNC machinery and edge banders
- Assist in maintaining clean and safe workshop
- Assisting with other areas of the caravan production line
- Prior experience in operating an edge bander and/or CNC machine highly desirable
Stores and Warehousing Staff
- Pick, pack and deliver orders to the build line
- Unload trucks and shipping containers as required
- Assist in management of stock control, ensuring all systems are up to date and all inventories are accurate
- Valid forklift licence is essential
- Experience in a similar role within a warehouse is desriable
Upholstery Staff
- Assist in the upholstering of caravan lounge and bed furniture
- Prepare frames, cut fabric and sew
- Provide suggestions for improvements in the upholstery processes
- Experience in a furnite upholstery role is desriable
- Qaulifications in upholstery are desirable
