We are currently seeking several Process Workers / Packers to join our fast paced, high care food production environment on a casual basis in Dandenong South.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The roles will involve working as an integral part of a team on fast-paced production lines performing a range of duties including inspecting cheese as part of quality control, general production work of loading cheese into pockets and/or coating cheese with ingredients and packing finished product into boxes.Qualifications & experience
We are a large gluten free food manufacturer which has been operating for over 20 years. As the gluten free market continues to expand we have experienced continual growth and recently moved to Luscombe to cater for the increasing demand. We are looking for someone who is motivated, energetic and willing to learn who wish to be part of our growing business- Previous experience in process line/food production line work is ESSENTIAL

- Reliable own transport
Tasks & responsibilities
- Primarily packing biscuits into trays from moving conveyor belt
- Visually checking quality of products
- Ability to work in constant, fast paced environment
- Physically fit to perform all duties including standing for long periods of time
- Afternoon shift: 4pm to 12am  Minimum 2 shifts per weeK.
- Previous experience in other food manufacturing (desired but not essential)
To be successful in this role you will be expect
- An ability to work up to 8 hours per shift, and have the flexibility to work at short notice
- Basic numeracy skills are a must to read to understand detailed packing instructions
- Ability to lift up to 10kgs
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- MUST have your own steel cap bootsÂ
- Stable transport arrangements
- A safety-first approach to your work
- Attention to detail with a common sense approach
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent personal presentation and motivation
