There is an opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper to join our team in Vancouver. This important role is responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property are maintained by cleaning the common areas of the property, as well as, functioning in a support role to the maintenance team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain the common areas neat and tidy, which include but is not limited to the driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, and any public areas
  • Communicates with supervisor regarding the status of work and any potential issues
  • Performs resident in-unit cleaning as needed
  • Performs in-unit turn cleans in preparation for new resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Ensures maintenance cleaning supplies are in stock and inform supervisor when reordering is necessary
  • Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired
  • Provides excellent customer service to prospective residents and current tenants, and promotes a high-quality living experience for all residents
  • General building preventive maintenance tasks
  • Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired
  • Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance cleaning function of the property.
  • Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention
  • Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic reading skills
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
