Applicants with warehouse pick and pack experience are encouraged to apply, and applicants with a Forklift license will be highly regarded.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
How to Get Housekeeper Jobs In Australia
- Uphold and abide by Woodhouse Timber’s safety management system
- Pull, pack, strap and wrap timber order in a timely, efficient manner
- Clearly be able to read and understand customer orders.
- Have legible reasonable hand writing
- Rack timber as required following Woodhouse Timber’s manual handling procedure
- Communicate clearly and politely with drivers, customers and office staff
- Safely operate a docking saw training will be provided
- keep your designated work area as cleaning
- Assist in cleaning communal areas
- follow stock procedures as directed by the warehouse supervisor
- Undertake additional duties as and when required by your warehouse supervisor or management
About You
- Must possess a great work ethic and willingness to work in a team environment
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Physically capable of undertaking hands on and repetitive heavy lifting up to 30 kg
- Ability to work autonomously
Hight Regarded
- Forklift license and experience
- Prior experience in the timber sector and or warehousing
- Previous experience with manual handling role
- RF scanning experience
