JOB DESCRIPTION
Terracing is responsible for the development of racing and breeding, the making of rules, the funding of clubs as well as providing stakes, negotiating media rights, and managing racing and training venues.
About the role
We are seeking a part time Cleaner to work 4 hours 3 days per week with experience in commercial cleaning to join our team. Reporting to the Asset & Facilities Supervisor the Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning of office areas, staff and public facilities, kitchens, lunchrooms, and common rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning of offices and common rooms
- Cleaning of staff and public facilities
- Safe handing of chemicals and/or hazardous substances
- Safe storage of chemicals and/or hazardous substances
- Glass, window, floors, door, walls and surfaces cleaning
- Identify and report potential hazards and issues
- Record and report incidents
We are seeking
- Relevant qualifications and experience in cleaning
- Strong knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
- Strong knowledge in the use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Previous experience in storing and handling cleaning chemicals
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Current “C” class drivers’ license
