JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a position available based at our Stockland Rockhampton Site and we are looking for enthusiastic, engaging team members who are passionate about delivering a great experience to our customers with every interaction. 

Approx. 25 to 30 hours per week. Some weekend work. Start ASAP.

Key attributes for this role will include: 

  • Having a friendly disposition and the ability to respond to reactive and proactive cleaning requirements quickly and efficiently
  • Prior retail cleaning experience
  • Being able to provide pro-active to support to the team, customers, centre management and centre retailers
  • Have experience in reporting including cleaning audits

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Extensive cleaning experience including the use of equipment such as scrubbers and burnishers
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills applicable in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
  • High standard of presentation
  • Personable with exceptional time management skills, and the ability to engage a diverse range of people-

The Role

Our cleaners are responsible for a range of duties and work to agreed schedules to deliver an exceptionally high standard or work. Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Cleaning of all touch points (taps, bubblers, handrails, door handles, bathrooms etc.)
  2. Mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming, you will need to be able to complete various duties,
  3. Maintenance of stock supplies and orders.
  4. Spot cleaning,
  5. Washroom cleaning
  6. Ensuring compliance with company procedures
  7. Creating a positive and safe working environment.
