JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be required to work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring that all deliverables are met to a high level of client satisfaction. 

  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors throughout the property. 
  • Cleaning toilets, showers and basins to a high standard. 
  • Rubbish collection and disposal in designated area. 
  • Cleaning of glass, both internal and external to ensure free of streaks and smudges. 
  • Spot cleaning of carpets and soft furnishings throughout property. 
  • Change linen, towels and toiletries ahead of next guests. 
  • Dusting and wiping down all hard surfaces including kitchens, living and dining areas. 
  • Adjusting furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary.
  • Immediately report any defects or maintenance issues for resolution.
  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies, procedures and legislation. 

What kind of person will succeed in this role?

  • Must have Australian driver’s licence and access to own, reliable transport to travel between sites. 
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a clear Police Check. 
  • Strong knowledge of safe work principles including chemical mixing, manual handling, use of PPE and operation of cleaning equipment.
  • Physically able to meet demands of role, with ability to stand, bend, lift and carry for periods of time.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous worker – remains focused on the task at hand with minimal supervision. 
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Punctual individual with strong time management and prioritisation skills. 
  • Polite, customer-focused and excellent personal presentation.
