Job Description
We’re looking for someone who loves growing flowers, has a deep interest in sustainable farming practices and understands the connection between the natural world and themselves. We need someone who will thrive in a dynamic working environment and eager to learn from a multifaceted start-up business and contribute to its success.
You’ll be working with Lourdes, the creative force behind the brand, in the field of our small plot family farm and soon to be built studio. You’ll learn all aspects of flower farming operations, natural dyeing and hospitality from Spring to Fall.
About Us
Masagana Flower Farm & Studio is a woman-led, BIPOC owned, small-scale flower farm, natural dye studio and new tourism destination near La Broquerie, Manitoba. We believe that no matter who and where we are, creating magic and growing joy is right at our fingertips. We advocate for an eco-conscious lifestyle and inspire others to turn their lawns into garden beds. Aside from growing seasonal blooms, we also cultivate dye plants that we use to make handmade, small batch, naturally dyed textile good and offers a unique tourism event, Tanta – a dye your own wearable art experience.

WORK CONDITIONS AND COMPENSATION
- Above minimum wage per hour, maximum 30 hours per week
- Must have a clean driving record and current driver’s license
- Must be available to start on April 11 or May 2 and must be available on alternate weekends
