WAPDA a statutory organization, working under the administrative control of Ministry of Water Recourses, established under WAPDA Act, 1985, is the largest organization involved in executive of multi-dimensional water and power development project of national importance.
Government of Pakistan is looking for a high caliber, experienced, motivated and dynamic individual with leadership qualities for the position of Member(POWER) and Chairman WAPDA contract basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Member shall perform the following function, as defined in WAPDA Act 1985, namely;
Planning, construction, operating and maintenance of power plants.
Planning, rehabilitation and refurbishment of old hydel power plants.
Management of audit procedures and dealing with audit reports.
Coordinate with the Division to which business of water and recourses stands allocated.
Any other assignment, assigned by the Chairman.
REMUNERATION AND AGE
If a Civil servant or an Officer of Authority is appointed, he shall draw pay in BPS-21 including such allowances as may be admissible from time to time in MP-2 scale.
If an Officer of the armed forces is appointed, he shall draw the pay and allowance that he was drawing immediately prior to such appointment.
if any other person is appointed he shall draw the pay and allowances as may be admissible from time to time in MP-2 Scale.
