We understand hospitality can involve anti-social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £36,000 full-time annual salary can earn up to an additional £3.00 per hour:

Sunday – Thursday from 7pm – 5am = extra £1.00 per hour

Saturday and Sunday from 5am – 7pm = extra £2.00 per hour

Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm – 5am = extra £3.00 per hour!

We also recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service.

On top of your salary you can earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (points based criteria for eligibility).

Rudding Park offers Live in Accommodation to help get you settled into your role. We also support finding alternative living accommodation in the local area.

If you do live out, we offer a Taxi Policy and contribute towards your taxi to and from work outside of the designated bus times Monday – Saturday and all day Sunday.

About the Role

  • Opening and closing the Holiday Park office when required
  • Siting guests, ensuring they are fully informed of everything required, including what they need to know during their stay and expectations on site
  • Supporting guests with any queries or needs to ensure they have a pleasant stay
  • Ensuring the site is secure and safe at all times (including regular rounds and security checks, monitoring fires and BBQ’s and monitoring guests’ behaviour around the site)
  • Regular checking of facilities and amenities, ensuring they are working and available to guests
  • Liaising with the Hotel when required to ensure good communication across Rudding Park
  • Helping guests with any problems as they arise
  • General maintenance and DIY around the site
  • Supporting the team as required, including cover, site work and completing unfinished jobs from the evening shift (e.g. bin collection, dog bag replacement, covering the pool etc.)
  • Enforcing Park Policy when required, including dealing with problem guests
  • To work with the team to continue to find new ways of improving and benefiting the business
  • Cleaning and ensuring hot tubs are clean and ready for the guests use. Taking and recording daily water tests
  • Being visible and available to support guests’ needs during their stay.
